THE CITY OF NAGA DIVISION CONDUCTS VIRTUAL CONFERENCE FOR PARENTS AND TEACHERS ON HOME-BASED LEARNING SETTING

The City of Naga Division conducted “Brigada Eskwela Partnership Series #2 for Parents and Teachers in a Home-Based Setting” on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. The event was spearheaded by the Division Social Mobilization Team of Mr. Vaughn A. Mantalaba, SEPS- Social Mobilization (Designate), and Mrs. Alexa Manna C. Padron, EPS- Social Mobilization (Designate).

            Virtual Conference highlighted presentations on 5 topics for parents and learners on responsibilities and the concept of the new learning hub. The first speaker, Mrs. Lotis R. Ravanes, Division Nurse II, discussed on “Role of Parents in Learning Continuity”. Mr. Ivoe Kristone D. Padillo, Division Work Immersion (Designate) talked on “Motivator of Children for Self-Directed Learning”. Mrs. Flordeliz E. Ubas, Division Guidance Coordinator (Designate) took her share on “Child Protection Policy”. The 4th Speaker, Mr. Rhoel Joseph A. Dazo, Division Research and Publication Coordinator (Designate) delivered his piece on “Assessor of Child-Directed Learning”. The final speaker, Mrs. Lynholly A. Bartolabac, Division Research and Publication Coordinator (Designate) shared the concept of “Mobilizer of Community Learning”.

           Dr. Rosalie M. Pasaol, Schools Division Superintendent, said “This virtual conference will aid teachers and parents to get a better picture of how home-based teaching and learning setting works. It will also be a way to realize the goal that “ Ang Bata sa Naga ang Bida”.
